Depatic

Depatic is a phytocomplex that is particularly able to depurate and protect the liver.

Silymarin, the active principle of the Milk Thistle, does an antioxidant and hepatoprotective activity , that is antagonistic against several hepatotoxic agents. It consists mainly of flavonoid derivatives such as silybin, silicristina and silidianina. The Silymarin acts as an antagonist against a number of hepatotoxic agents, including alcohol. The therapeutic efficacy of silymarin is based on two mechanisms of action:

1. It protects the liver cells, to prevent the absumption of toxic agents,

2. It increases the regenerative capacity of the liver and the formation of new hepatocytes.

The Desmodium adscendens is a plant with significant hepatic depurative and anti-inflammatory properties and is efficacious in repairing and protecting the hepatic tissue from damages caused by chronic regressive diseases (cirrhosis, hepatitis, etc..) and some toxic substances (toxins of vegetable nature, drugs, chemical poison.
